Our Philosophy
Through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and meaningful programming, girls are encouraged to grow both personally and professionally while building lifelong skills and relationships.
We believe empowerment happens through opportunity, representation, encouragement, and access to spaces where girls feel supported, challenged, and inspired.
Scholarships
SWAG scholarships recognize leadership, resilience, creativity, and academic excellence while helping young girls pursue opportunities for long-term success.

The S.W.A.G. Girls Basketball & Empowerment Camp is a one-day experience for girls in grades 5–12 that blends athletics, leadership, creativity, and personal growth in a fun and encouraging environment. Hosted by S.W.A.G. (Scholars With Athletic, Academic, and Artistic Goals) and led by CEO and Founder Jada J. Smith, the camp empowers girls to build confidence on and off the court through mentorship, teamwork, and hands-on activities designed to help them recognize their full potential.
Throughout the day, participants will take part in basketball skill development focused on teamwork, fundamentals, leadership, and confidence through movement and challenges. Girls will also rotate through interactive workshops centered on mental wellness, STEM and creativity, entrepreneurship, and self-esteem, encouraging self-love, innovation, and personal expression. Additional classroom experiences may also be included. Every participant will receive a S.W.A.G. T-shirt, lunch, and a special take-home gift bag.
Applying for the S.W.A.G. Basketball Camp is a simple and intentional process designed to ensure every participant is ready to grow both on and off the court.
Interested participants must complete the official S.W.A.G. Basketball Camp application. This includes basic information such as name, age, school, grade level, basketball experience, and parent or guardian contact details.
A parent or legal guardian must review and sign the consent and waiver forms included in the application to ensure safety, clear communication, and understanding of camp expectations.
Families submit the registration fee to secure their spot. If financial support is needed, a scholarship request can be completed within the application and will be reviewed based on availability and need.
After submission, families receive a confirmation email. Accepted participants will receive a welcome email with full camp details, including dates, location, schedule, and what to bring.
Participants will receive final reminders and updates before camp begins. Come ready to learn, grow, build confidence, and fully engage in both basketball training and empowerment sessions.

“The Girls With SWAG Do It Camp was a phenomenal experience for me. I was one of the many counselors, and I learned so much throughout the experience. I loved seeing the campers progress in their skills in such a short amount of time. I hope we can continue this camp every year, not only for the campers, but for everyone involved.”
